Christmas The Class Parties   Pass the Parcel games in the hall   Every year we have a class party. We are allowed to bring the party clothes in a bag, and party food. We have a fancy hat competition and last year Serena won a prize. We play some party games such as musical chairs. We have our food, two or three mums put it out while we are playing the games. We get very excited when we're eating our school lunches that day because the parties are in the afternoon. I remember when I was in Year 3 and my auntie helped us. Simon put his party hat over her eyes and led her outside. Charlotte (Y4)   In the Christmas parties everyone comes with different clothes. We play different games with several classes together. If we win we get a prize. Afterwards we go back to our classrooms and have food to eat. We all bring things in. There are lots of things to eat and everyone enjoys it. After that everyone goes back into the hall. We had a dancing competition. I can't dance but my friend got a prize. At the end I was very tired and full up with the food that I ate. Nishma (Y5)   Party food in the classrooms   It was good fun, we went in the hall. The headteacher judged the hats we had made, then we played musical chairs and pass the parcel and corners. It was very good but I didn't win anything, but it was still fun... Thomas D   It was really good fun. After lunch I was pretty full up but I still ate some of the wonderful food. The best things were the games and my favourite was musical chairs... Stefi   We had lots of un playing games. Not many brought in food this year but there was still a lot to eat. I brought a packet of Rainbow Drops and a packet of Jammy Dodgers... Vicky W   We played pass the parcel, corners and musical chairs. Charlotte won the parcel. We came back into class and ate our food. We were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and wear whatever we wanted. We got to go home in our party clothes at the end... Florence Florence I won musical chairs and I went out in the third go of the corner game. We had a hat competition , and after that we ate our food. My favourite game was the corner game but I also liked musical chairs because I won... Bulent   It was really enjoyable as we got to the end. We played lots of games and my favourite was the colour corners, but I was out first try. We had a hat competition where we made a hat in class... Ryan   On Thursday, 16th December 1999 we had our Christmas party, along with the other Year 6 and Year 5 classes. First, we made our party hats. We changed into our party clothes after lunchtime. Our first game was musical chairs. After that we played pass the parcel, which Charlotte won and she got a Christmas Funfile. Mrs O'Brien came into the hall to judge the hat competition. Stephanie and Terry won. At quarter to three we went back to the classroom to have our snacks. There were biscuits, chocolate bars, crisps and sausages to eat... Dhiren Dhiren We had a hat competition where we made a hat and Mrs O'Brien chose the best two hats... Lydia   At the start we all went in the hall. We put on the music and we played games. Before the party we all made a party hat for the hat competition. Terry and Stephanie won it, they were very good... Billy   The party was fab, it had all the food you could eat, and the music was fab as well, but when we went into the hall it got hotter and hotter as the day went on. I enjoyed it, it was kind of fun for Thursday... Daniel R Daniel R Overall the party was very good... Nicola A   We went into the hall and Mrs O'Brien judged the hat competition. Stephanie and Terry won and chose their prizes... Donna   In the corner game I got through until about 6 were left, then I was out, but I enjoyed it very much. Stephanie won a computer book... Nicky P   We played some games and danced to some songs... Simone   I thought it was good, the food was the best... Stuart   I sat next to Richard and we were talking. We were hungry... Lillo   At our party it was great, I liked the bit where we all had to dance. We had a lot of food, which was nice... Stephanie Stephanie The first game we played was musical chairs and everyone was laughing because everyone's hats were falling off. After the games we went back to class to eat out food, and when I was eating my hat kept falling off... Charlotte
