Links to local sites Local Area links: Visit the Ruislip Website - a site about our local area. The Hillingdon On-line Website is another good site about the Hillingdon area. Harefield has its own local area website. Eastcote also has its own website. London Borough of Hillingdon website is the official Borough website and includes details of all local schools. The Babettes Cheerleaders are a local cheerleading team involving one of our former pupils, Hannah Kent, who has gone on to become a senior WCA coach. Links to find other information: HomeSight tells you about an area by its postcode: the makeup of house types, property prices, council taxes, ameneties and GCSE/SATs results for local schools. SearchUK is a search site with an address search. This lists the ameneties in an area if you enter a UK postal address, and will also give its postcode. The Royal Mail site gives postcodes for addresses, and addresses for known postcodes in the UK. The BT UK directories are available to search on-line. Infobel also has a good on-line UK phonebook with search facilities using the 192.com data. 192.com has various directory search facilities: you have to register (free) to use the site. U-Phone: if you register for free, you can send free SMS text messages to any UK mobile phone on any network, just like email. Multimap will give a UK streetmap by address, placename or postcode. Streetmap will give UK area/street maps by entering a London street name, the placename, OS or LandRanger grid reference, latitude/longitude, telephone code or postcode.
