Where to find fashion The most popular places for fashion are Paris, Milan, New York and London. They have clothes like short skirts or really short tops. They have lots of shoes. They have platform shoes. That is like a trainer with a fat bottom that is very long. These platform shoes will cost quite a lot, like £100 for a pair. The clothes cost a lot because these places are rich and because they are very popular places. In these places they have lots of clothes places to go to. However, you can buy all different clothes at an Oxfam shop, a market, or a jumble sale. Some people think they are for just poor people but they are not. You can be amazed. Nowadays there are some good things in an Oxfam shop. You can even buy earrings there. Why do people think the Oxfam shops are just for poor people? Maybe it's because there are pictures of people with no proper clothes or money on the walls. When I was going past I saw a rich person going in an Oxfam Shop. Nowadays you can buy earrings and necklaces in these places. If people just tried to go in these places they would be helping other people and themselves. Going in an Oxfam Shop is nothing to be afraid of, it is something to be glad about - you have just helped people at the same time. |

What about a jumble sale? There are some going on at Queensmead School on a Sunday sometimes. You can buy clothes, shoes and jewellery. Most of these stalls are cheap but at a market you have to pay a little more. Some markets, jumble sales and charity shops sell things on their own, like a skirt, but you can get a top or use one you have at home. You can buy anything you like at these places. On the High Street you can buy dresses. I saw a silver sparkly dress. I also saw a suede dress, it has a slit down the side, but only a small one. The silver dress was covered in sequins all over so it will sparkle in the light. It is about £15.00 or £20.00. There are some nice shoes you can buy on the High Street. There are even trainers. You can get a pair of shoes you might think will cost a lot of money, but they may be cheap at a charity shop or a jumble sale or a market or even in the High Street. You can buy things likes socks, trousers, T shirts, shoes, dresses, jumpers, boots and underwear. The high street or the market are both good places to shop. People shouldn't be afraid of going in cheaper places. So next time you go out shopping, go in an Oxfam Shop or a Jumble Sale or the Market or even a High Street, and don't be afraid. Most teenagers go in charity shops nowadays because the old 60's and the 70's clothes are back in fashion. You can get lovely suede boots and shoes in these different places. When you go in an Oxfam shop or go to a jumble sale or go to the market or even a high street don't be afraid. Be happy about it and you never know, people might say, "Cool, where did you get your cool clothes from?" So whatever you do why not enjoy your shopping! |

Here is an outfit for boys: It is a light blue cap you can wear any time of the day, and nice red top suitable for anywhere, and a pair of jeans that are a lovely deep blue. And if you want something cool, how about a pair of glow in the dark trainers. They have a green light that flashes in the dark. You can always buy a boy's necklace. Here is a drawing I designed. It is a light blue crop top with a red heart on. Then you have a yellow mini skirt. The boots are black P.V.C. Down the side of the boot you can get a different coloured zip. You could wear an orange P.V.C scrunchie, with an orange clip and a yellow flower on it. Where the heart is it's velcro, and you can get different shapes to put on your crop top. They are all in different sizes and colours. You can also get your name in velcro to stick on your crop top or you can get it printed on. You can also get your name in bubble writing.
Nail varnish You can buy lots of nail varnish at Oxfam shops and at markets. Here are some of the nail varnish ideas I have got. The colours you can have are purple, red and metallic. The purple is rich purple. It will cost about £2.55. The red is not as rich as the purple. You might just get it in gold as well. The red will cost about £2.55. The metallic is a light red. It is very shiny. It will cost about £3.55. by Luzie, Lucy and Stacey |
