| Year 6 Newspaper Places to Go Cubs There are lots of Cub packs in Middlesex. The Cub pack I go to is 1st Northolt. This is a very nice Cub pack. The district 1st Northolt are in have lots of events in the year like football, swimming, cross country running and grass sledging. At cubs we play running games and knotting games. We have quizzes as well. In the summer we go outside and do sports but in the winter we stay inside and play lots of other games. If you would like to join 1st Northolt Cubs then come to Northolt High school at 6.00pm until 8.30pm. At the end of Cubs there are penny sweets on sale and Mars Bars. There are also swimming tickets on sale for 50p which lets you come to Northolt swimming pool on a certain day at a certain time. James Marwell's World of Animals This is all about animals. It is very interesting for the young and old. You are allowed to ride one of the two humped camels. You are allowed to feed the deer. There are 72 different types of animals there. There is a road train terminal you can go on. It is not very long. There is an education centre for you. There is a restaurant called Treetops. This zoo is in Hampshire. I think it is a fun place to be. Most of the animals you like should be there. Most of the animals are very interesting. Stacey Boys' Brigade In Boys' Brigade you talk about football and we talk about what happens in Boys' Brigade. It is on a Wednesday and we play games like football or we we play hockey and table tennis. We do prayers. It starts at 7.00 and finishes at 8.30. You have to wait five weeks until you get your uniform. Cubs start at 6.00 and finish at 8.00. We do not do the same as cubs because they go hunting and we do not. They go in the woods and Boys Brigade don't go to the woods. We do cooking and making pictures on a pot. And we do pictures of plants. Andrew |
