This time our coach came at the right time. It took a long time to get there because it was in the centre of London...

From our school it took an hour and a quarter. When we got there we saw Warrender School...

When we got there we had to line up in our pairs again. This time we had to carry our things because there wasn't anywhere to put them... I think the trip was great...
Komal

When we were on the coach we saw lots of shops, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. When we got there we went first without an audio guide. We went with a guide and she showed us a video and gas masks and ration books...
Uhmesh

My partner was Hayley. We went to the War Rooms. They had gas masks and guns...
Senina

The first impression was that I was going to be bored stiff, but I was wrong. We got these cool phones to listen to and follow the story...

On the coach it was very hot and stuffy. We saw Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. First, we went round the War Rooms on out own. We were about ten feet underground. At lunch at St. James' Park, we were mobbed by about twenty pigeons, a moorhen and a coot...
Lauren

In some places I was scared because I saw people moving and I thought they were models. I liked going around with the phone because it sounded more interesting...

I found it fascinating. It was quite dark and cold underground, and it had no windows. I found it quite creepy and I was quite glad to go to St. James' Park for lunch. We saw two Royal Marines who gave us each a sticker...

As we were driving there through London we saw a tramp sleeping on the grass. When we got there some of the rooms were quite small and it got very crowded. We had a talk and when the lady was talking to us we kept hearing loud bangs from above which sounded like bombs. Everyone was really worried. I took lots of photos but Tom opened the back of my camera...

On the coach, I didn't know what to expect but when I got there, I was very disappointed. There was more excitement in a tuna and tomato sandwich. I liked lunch best because we went to St. James' Park. Lauren kept giving the pigeons sandwiches and crisps and they came to her, then she threw some pieces at me and the pigeons flew over...

When we were in the coach we saw a lot of statues and the Houses of Parliament. When I saw the Cabinet War Rooms, outside it just looked like it was in the war when they put sandbags outside. It felt scary when there was this man in the corridor, one of the army men. At the very end we heard the sirens go on and we saw The Slab. It was 11 feet thick. We saw Winston Churchill and we went to watch a video and saw some gas masks and tins of food. There were different gas masks for certain people. We saw the Map Room and we saw guns and knives. Churchill's room had a potty to go to the toilet on and we saw the bucket he used to put his cigars in. There was a Transmission Room for the BBC. Then we went to St James' Park. When we got there we saw a duck with chicks. When I started to eat my lunch all the pigeons came up to us to try to get the food.

When we were there we just looked around at all the different rooms. We looked at the door of the top secret Telephone Room which said 'engaged' on it, all the workers thought that Winston Churchill was going to the toilet when he was in there. We saw models of people and the emergency light. When we had lunch we went to St James' Park and sat on the grass. There were lots of pigeons and they kept coming over to us, so we gave them some of our crisps and things. When we went back to the rooms we had little phones which told us information about the war. On the way back everyone's chocolate melted...
Sarah

Winston Churchill used to speak on the phone to America, but the door was disguised as a lavatory and the people who worked there for so long didn't know. At lunch I saw a flock of pelicans and that was brilliant...
Simon

The good bit was when I saw some guns and air raid sirens. When we finished our lunch three marines came up and gave us a sticker each...

It was very interesting, everything was very cool. We went by coach and Sarah felt sick so she went in the front and I was left on my own. It took us one hour and twenty minutes to get there, we got stuck in traffic. My favourite part was the model of a soldier, every time I looked at him it made me jump. Some parts were creepy, like in one of the rooms there was a lady looking in a mirror putting some lipstick on, that was creepy. We had lunch at 12 o'clock. We were walking down the path and there were 3 ducklings and their mum. When we ate lunch Senina was feeding her sandwich to the pigeons, I think she wanted to take them home. Everyone took pictures at lunch and everyone got together as a group for photos...
Charley

We took £2 and arrived later than the last trip. We looked at all the pictures and read about what it was like and looked at a real bomb. In a glass case we saw a helmet, a rattle for a gas attack and some sugar lumps more than 50 years old. We saw some Mickey Mouse gas masks and baby masks that covered their whole bodies! At the shop I bought a pencil, a sharpener and some chocolate. It was fun and I really enjoyed it...

We had a talk about the war, and first we watched a film. It showed how everybody was working together. Not one person in the film looked angry at all, they all looked very calm. After that a lady showed us all the different gas masks. There would have been a noise to tell you when to put your gas mask on. After lunch we got these phone things which told us about the war. My favourite bit would have to be the tour guide phone things...

After lunch we took another look round but this time we used the Audioguide. This is where you listen to a telephone type machine and you hear a man explaining...
Tom K

I bought a box of Hershey cookies and and a cream chocolate bar, it was 90p...
Robert

The 'Slab' and the Map Room were my favourite things. I enjoyed looking at the Cabinet Room and Winston Churchill's bedroom...
