When we were about to go, we had to wait half an hour for the other coach to arrive because the driver went to the wrong school...

The museum looked really big. We walked in to see a huge skeleton of a Diplodocus...
Charley

It was fun. We started off in the Earth section. There was a huge globe with an escalator leading through it. That was cool. My favourite thing there was the earthquake simulator...
Priya

There were many buttons to press and lots of things to do. There were also telephones to pick up and listen to...

I felt quite dizzy going up the escalator. Inside the Earth was thunder and lightning. It was quite scary...
Charlotte

I was amazed at all the beautiful gems, diamonds and jewels...
Billy

It was educational as well as being fun. We went into two galleries, the Earth Gallery and the Life Gallery. I thought the best part was the part with all the rocks and gems. They were all different sizes and shapes...

The globe spun round when you were on the escalator and it felt like you were going to fall backwards. I also liked the moving T-Rex, if you stood in the middle of the barrier it came right down to your face and then roared...

When we got to the top of the escalator everyone was looking down except for me. We walked through lots of doors and each time saw something different. My favourite was the diamonds and gems...
Katie

There was an earthquake simulator that looked like a shop and the ground started to shake from side to side...
Lauren

We went into the earthquake room. The floor didn't shake that much but some of my friends fell down on the floor...

We went on the earthquake machine, which was really great but it didn't shake very much so it wasn't very exciting. We had lunch in the bottom part of the musuem. Then we looked at the dinosaur exhibition. The moving dinosaur could have been better with moving feet. Then we went to see the insect gallery which was really fun. There was a house which showed which bugs live where, like in the bin you get houseflies...

On the way to the Earth Galleries we went up an escalator which went through a model of the Earth, inside was a lot of foil and questions about the Earth...

One odd thing I saw was a door saying: Stairs to Basement, with stairs going up. My favourite part was the section with all the crystals that mostly sparkled in my face. I bought some rocks at the shop and Sasha lost a £200 camera in the rubbish bin...

We had to go up the escalator. There was a big model of the Earth that span round. It felt as if you were going to fall down. We went in the earthquake simulation, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. At liunchtime we were very squashed. At the shop I bought a stone and a rubber. On the way home I took loads of pictures on the coach...
Serena

At lunch I sat next to Katie on a green table...
Kurt

We saw an electronic dinosaur, it was a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was really real and it scared me. We saw millions of bones and a moving model of Velociraptor eating a Diplodocus...

I liked it in the Earth Gallery when you walk into the fake shop and it goes like you are in an earthquake, but it doesn't shake as much as a real live earthquake does. I liked it when you pushed the buttons and saw wgat happened. There was a spinning circle with marble-type colours in them. I watched an old news report on an old volcanic eruption ages ago, and there were children covered in ash and also cars were covered in ash. We saw frozen lightning and a tombstone, and I tried to make a river with Jack and Uhmesh. We saw a massive T.Rex that roared at us and we also saw raptors eating a big dinosaur that was lying on the ground moving its head up and down every minute or so...
Robert

When you walk in you see a big dinosaur right in front of you. We saw some really good diamonds. They were very pretty and colourful and sparkly. We saw a lot of skeletons of dinosaurs and I saw some bugs, mostly ants. We sawe some little baby dinosaurs in a nest eating leaves. There was a prehistoric man who used flint that was very sharp, he used it for cutting trees and other things...

I was very excited as it was the first time I'd been there. My favourite part was the moving dinosaur and the dino legs. You had to pull 2 levers which made the computer display a dinosaur moving in the same way. I liked the Earth Galleries better. I think the museum could have made the ground shake a litlle bit more in the earthquake room because it was pretty weak. Overall I would advise everyone to make two trips or more so they can see it all. There is a lot to do and there is the added extra of being able to have lunch in Hyde Park if the weather's fine...
Peter

I thought the life-sized dinosaur was great, and the earthquake in the shop. I liked the dinosaurs better though...
Uhmesh

I liked it at the museum, there were lots of subjects...
